Rules and canned replies handle known questions. When AI is enabled, replies are generated from the site content and product data configured for that site, and an operator can take over the same conversation when manual handling is required.
Product information in the conversation
When catalogue data is connected, product names, prices and links can be shown in the chat. Paid plans sync Shopify, WooCommerce, CSV and Google Shopping feed catalogues once a day.

The operator workspace works in desktop and mobile browsers. Android and Windows apps are available.

Sign in with an AumCreate account; the Free plan needs no card. Paid plans are prepaid for 3 or 12 months and do not renew automatically. The plan is applied after payment confirmation, normally within one hour; signing in again refreshes it immediately.
Privacy and data
- AumChat stores the messages and attachments required to provide the customer chat service.
- When AI replies or summaries are enabled, the conversation text required for that feature is sent to a language-model API. Visitor contact details are not included in that request.
- AumChat does not store visitor IP addresses.
- Conversation retention is set by the site owner; the default is 12 months after a conversation closes.
- The website using AumChat remains responsible for informing its visitors about the chat service and for its own privacy obligations.
Common questions
- Does AumChat work on any website?
- Yes. The widget is added with an embed script and is not limited to WordPress. WordPress sites can also use the connector plugin.
- Does AumChat answer only with AI?
- No. The same conversation can contain rule-based replies, AI-generated replies and human responses.
- Can AI replies be wrong?
- Yes. AI-generated replies can be inaccurate. Site owners should review the content and product data AumChat uses, monitor conversations, and adjust or disable AI features when needed.
- Where can operators reply?
- In desktop and mobile browsers, and in the Android and Windows apps.
- Does a paid plan renew automatically?
- No. Paid plans are prepaid for 3 or 12 months and do not renew automatically.
- What happens near expiry?
- Reminder emails are sent 7 days and 1 day before a paid plan ends. Buying another term adds time to the remaining period.
- How is visitor data handled?
- AumChat stores the conversation data required to provide the service. Site owners choose the retention period, with a default of 12 months after a conversation closes. The AumChat privacy and terms page has the full details.
