Corporate sites, export and B2B sites, booking sites, and content sites. We decide the structure with you — what each page has to answer, where the enquiry or purchase path begins — and then build it. If you arrive without page requirements, defining the information architecture is part of the job.
Custom theme development
A theme built around your content and brand, not a marketplace template bent into shape. This is the right choice when your content has structure a generic template cannot express — product lines, service areas, case studies, specifications.
Custom plugin development
Functionality WordPress does not have, built as a plugin rather than wired into the theme — so it survives a redesign and can move with you. Integrations with systems you already use fall here too.
Special requirements
Migrations, rescues of sites someone else left half-finished, performance work, multilingual builds, and the things that do not fit a category. If you are not sure it is possible, that is a good reason to ask.
How we work
- 1You tell us what you need — the more concrete, the better. An existing site, a competitor you like, a rough sketch: all useful.
- 2We come back with questions. The questions are the work — they are how a vague brief becomes a scope.
- 3You get a written scope and a quote. If it does not fit your budget, we tell you what to cut rather than quietly cutting quality.
- 4We build, you review at checkpoints, and we hand over the whole thing — site, source, and the accounts it runs on.
We do not publish price lists. Custom work varies too much for a package to mean anything, and a number without a scope is a number that will change.
What we will not do
- Hand you something you cannot leave. Standard WordPress, your hosting, your accounts — you can move it or hire someone else at any time.
- Reskin a marketplace template and call it custom. If a ready-made theme genuinely fits your case, we will say so and point you at one instead of charging you to rebuild it.
- Quote before the scope is clear. A number given before we understand the work is a number that changes later, and that conversation is worse than this one.
- Take on more work than we can do properly at once. If we are full, we will tell you when we are free rather than start late and rush.
Common questions
- How much does a site cost?
- It depends on scope, which is why we scope before quoting. A brochure site, a catalogue with hundreds of products, and a booking system with per-city availability are three very different projects. Tell us what you need and you will get a real number, not a range.
- Do I own the site?
- Yes, completely. Everything runs on standard WordPress, on hosting in your name, with accounts in your name. You can move it to another host, hire another developer, or take the whole thing with you — no permission needed and nothing to unlock.
- Can I edit it myself after handover?
- Yes. Editable content is set up as editable content — text, images, products, listings — not baked into templates you would need a developer to touch. We hand over with the site in a state you can actually run.
- Do you use a ready-made theme or build from scratch?
- Whichever is right for your case, and we will tell you honestly which one that is. If a ready-made theme fits, using it is cheaper and faster and you should. Custom is for when your content has structure a generic theme cannot express.
- Can you build an online store?
- Yes, on WooCommerce — the standard WordPress e-commerce stack, which means the same portability applies to your store and your order data.
- Can you build a multilingual site?
- Yes. This site is a working example: English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese, with the URL structure and hreflang setup search engines need in order to treat them as one site rather than three duplicates.
