Export websites that answer what a buyer actually asks
An export site works when a buyer abroad can answer his own questions without emailing you: what it is, to what specification, what it costs or what happens when he asks, how long it takes, and who handles it when it breaks. Everything else on the page is decoration.
Who this is for
Manufacturers and traders selling across borders, on their own site rather than a marketplace. Usually a range of products, buyers in several countries, and enquiries that need a quote rather than a cart.
Where you are stuck
The enquiries that arrive say "please send your best price" and nothing else, so every one of them costs two or three emails before it becomes a number. Meanwhile the catalogue is organised the way the factory thinks about its own products, not the way a buyer searches for them.
What we do
- 1Decide the catalogue structure first: by what the buyer is trying to do, not by internal series numbers.
- 2Fix what every product page must answer, so a missing answer becomes visible instead of quietly absent.
- 3Build the enquiry path that produces a quotable enquiry — quantity, specification, destination — rather than a message box.
- 4Add the parts your business actually needs: tiered pricing for dealers, a configurator, downloadable datasheets, container-load calculators.
- 5Set the site up multilingual from the start if you sell into more than one language, because retrofitting it later means three sites competing with each other.
Proof you can open
We built the storefront for an electric bike brand selling across Southeast Asia — the client arrived with a product line and no page requirements, so the catalogue structure, the product page and the purchase path were ours to decide. Below that you can open three working prototypes: an enquiry page that reads a DXF and prices it, a catalogue that shows a different price to every dealer account, and a wholesale page that fills a container for you.
Real client work
Working prototypes
- An enquiry form that reads the drawing and prices it before you send itA laser cutting shop’s enquiry page: drop in a DXF and the site reads the outline, the cut length and the holes straight out of the file, prices it against material and quantity, and fills the whole thing into the form that was already there.
- One product page that shows a different price to every accountAn industrial pump catalogue where the list price is public but the partner price is not — sign in and the same page recalculates the price, the stock figure and the downloads for whoever is looking at it, without reloading.
- A wholesale page that fills the container for youAn outdoor furniture trade page: your 9.6 m³ ships LCL at $1,238 and no quantity makes that better. On the page there is a 40HQ loading this month — book your space, bring one more buyer, and the freight line becomes a share of one box instead.
Questions we get asked
- Do I have to use your theme or your plugins?
- No. This is standard WordPress and WooCommerce. You can move it to any host and hire anyone to change it. That is deliberate: a site you cannot leave is not yours.
- Can you work with the site I already have?
- Usually yes, if it is WordPress. We look at what is there first and tell you honestly whether it is cheaper to fix or to rebuild — sometimes the answer is fix, and we will say so.
- What does it cost?
- It depends on how much of the above you need, so we quote after understanding the scope rather than publishing packages. Tell us what you sell and to whom, and you get a real number rather than a range.
- How long does it take?
- The structure decisions take days, not weeks — they are decisions, not work. The build depends on how many products and how much of it is custom. We give you a date, not a season.
Tell us what you need
No packages and no price list — the number depends on what you actually need. Tell us what you sell and to whom, and you get a real answer rather than a range.
