Questions we get asked
- How do I know whether I need custom work or just a plugin?
- Ask whether the rule is specific to your company. Booking, invoicing and forms are solved problems — use the plugin. "Which of our four dealer tiers this account is in, and what each tier sees" is not solved, because it is your policy, not a feature.
- Will this lock me into you?
- No, and we build against that on purpose: standard WordPress, no proprietary theme requirement, documentation of the decisions. If you leave, the next developer can read what we did.
- Can you take over a site somebody else built?
- Often. We look first — sometimes what is there is fine and needs one addition, sometimes it was built in a way that makes every change expensive. You get that assessment before you commit to anything.
- Do you do ongoing maintenance?
- We can, but the goal is that you do not need us on a retainer to make small changes. If a routine edit requires a developer, that is a design failure on our side.
