Common questions
- How are recommendations kept to real products?
- Answers are generated from your catalogue, and each recommendation cites the product page it is based on, so it can be checked against that page. A general-purpose chatbot without access to the catalogue may name products or model numbers that do not exist.
- Does it replace the sales team?
- No. It answers the standard selection questions, so that conversations with the sales team begin with the basic requirements already established. Unusual site conditions, exceptions, and price negotiation remain with the sales team.
- What does it cost to run?
- Operating cost depends on the number of buyers who use it. Answers are generated from your own catalogue, which keeps each request limited in scope, and usage limits are set at the start of the project.
- What happens when the catalogue changes?
- The system reads the catalogue published on your site, so new products are included in its answers once they are published. Catalogue content is not maintained in a separate copy.
