Features

• Provides per-content SEO fields (SEO title, meta description, index / noindex, follow / nofollow, canonical URL, Open Graph title, description and image), with site-level templates as fallbacks.
• Outputs Schema.org structured data for supported content, including Article, FAQPage, HowTo, Product, Review, VideoObject, DefinedTerm, BreadcrumbList and Organization / LocalBusiness. The exact output depends on the content type and the data configured on the site.
• Generates an XML sitemap index with post-type and taxonomy sitemaps, including last-modified dates and image entries where available.
• Applies keyword-to-URL internal links when content is rendered, with a per-page limit and a case-sensitivity setting. Stored post content is not rewritten.
• Adds FAQ, Glossary and Guide content types with FAQPage, DefinedTerm and HowTo structured data.
• Serves /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt generated from selected published content. The feature can be disabled when the site does not need it or another plugin manages the file.
• Supports optional AI-assisted workflows such as meta description, FAQ and related-question drafting, and featured-image generation, through the WordPress AI Client or a configured provider.

Intended use

Sites that need on-site SEO metadata, structured data, sitemaps and llms.txt managed in one plugin. Sites already running another SEO plugin should not enable overlapping meta, canonical, Schema or sitemap output in both.

Common questions

Is AumViso free?

Yes. AumViso is published free on WordPress.org and does not have a paid feature tier or activation key.

Is an AI API key required?

No. Core SEO features work without an AI API key or an external AI service. AI-assisted features require the WordPress AI Client with a connected provider, or a provider key configured in the plugin. External requests occur only when those features are used.

Can AumViso run alongside Yoast SEO or Rank Math?

It can be installed on the same site, but overlapping meta, canonical, Schema, sitemap and similar output should not be enabled in more than one SEO plugin. For llms.txt, AumViso detects Yoast SEO, All in One SEO and Rank Math and shows which file is actually served.

Does llms.txt improve AI rankings?

There is no such guarantee. llms.txt is an emerging, proposed format for publishing a machine-readable site summary, and support varies by AI system. It does not guarantee indexing, ranking, citation or recommendation.

Does AumViso include AI crawler monitoring?

No. Since AumViso 2.0.11, AI crawler monitoring and access rules are provided by the separate AumCrawl plugin. Existing rules and visit history remain in the database and are taken over when AumCrawl is installed.

How does AumViso affect performance?

The actual impact depends on the hosting environment, enabled features, theme, content and other plugins. AumViso also includes optional settings for emoji scripts, oEmbed, XML-RPC, Heartbeat throttling and JavaScript deferral.

Does it work with our theme?

Yes, it works with any theme. It is also a requirement of AumCreate site templates, which is why the template pages list it under requirements.
